Two on Tuesday: NARS and Urban Decay Eye Palettes
This week I thought I would show you the two eye palettes I’ve picked up in the last few days!
First up is the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette. I was devastated to miss out on this before Christmas, and it finally came back into stock! Needless to say I was straight off to the shops…
I also ordered the NARS Narsissist Palette last week as a late birthday present, and I’m so glad that I didn’t hang around this time because it’s since been taken off the website.
Hopefully I’ll manage to do a proper post on each of these over the next week so I won’t go into too much detail, but it’s safe to say I’m over the moon with my purchases!
Style focus: Tartan
Tartan is a huge trend this winter, and I’ve seen so many great outfits incorporating it recently. Here are some of my favourite tartan and checked clothes and accessories in the shops at the moment!
1. Stripe Tartan Scarf in Black at Urban Outfitters
2. Red Check Tube Skirt at Topshop
3. Checked Wool Coat at Zara
4. Monochrome Mini Gingham Shirt at Topshop
5. ASOS Longline Cardigan In Vintage Tartan Check
6. Paint Checked Richie Dress at French Connection
7. ASOS Peg Trousers in Tartan Check Print
Dress of the Day: UO Vintage
Minkpink for Summer
This post focuses on a brand I absolutely love – pretty but offbeat, I’m getting more excited for summer and festival season just looking at their new pieces. You can definitely tell that there is an Australian influence in the design, really laid back and often quite floaty-hippy-chic. Here are some of my favourite items on sale now:
These two dresses are quite similar, but I can’t choose a favourite! Either would be perfect for a festival, floaty and unique. I love the warm colours and the patterns.
I’ve been searching for this cape since I saw it last month paired with something else on ASOS! I would wear this cape and these shorts together, but the cape could be dressed up with chunky heels for a different look. Everyone needs denim shorts for summer, I really like the floral detail on these as they’re a bit different to everyone’s standard cut off Levis.
I’ll leave you with two more dresses that have caught my eye; there’s less of a festival theme here, they’re just incredibly pretty for daytime in summer.
