Style Focus: Co-ords

I really like the way co-ordinating sets have begun to pop up for Spring. I’ve seen lots of great patterns and of course some florals, and I’ve picked a few of my favourites to show you, from Dahlia, the ASOS Reclaimed collection, and Topshop. I think that my favourite is the floral ASOS set, but I also like the quirkiness of the Dahlia Covent Garden set – what do you think? Would you wear this trend?

& Other Stories Mini Beauty Haul

The & Other Stories store has been calling my name each time I’ve walked past since I moved to Copenhagen, but due to a student budget I resisted… until today. I picked up a few bits from the (amazing) beauty section and headed straight to the tills before the guilt set in!

I needed a new moisturiser and had been meaning to pick up my usual Nivea from the supermarket, but that thought disappeared the second I smelt the Punk Bouquet range… So I ended up with the body wash too. Its labelled ‘Frothy vanilla soda on a rebellious rose bouquet’ and smells gorgeous!

I also scooped up a new lipstick in ‘Delaine Orange’, which I’m really looking forward to trying out. The packaging is really simple, but as it is relatively cheap at £12, I’m not complaining.

The colour easily builds up to a really vivid shade, and is a nice balance between matt and sheer.

Swimwear edit: Motel

I originally intended to pick two of Motel’s gorgeous longline bikinis for a Two on Tuesday post… But I like them ALL! So here you go – my top six picks from Motel’s swimwear offerings. Most of their styles also come as one piece swimsuits too, and I really like the daisy and tartan prints in that too! What are your favourites?

Lust List: Slip-on Trainers

Image

From the top: Whistles Lena Print Slip-ons (asos.com), Pull & Bear (asos.com), Carvela Laurel Blue Pony Effect (asos.com), YMC Pink Toe Cap (asos.com), YMC Floral (asos.com), Whistles Lena Pink (asos.com)

I love the recent emergence of slip on trainers, they’re definitely making me think ahead to summer and also provide some relief from the sports trainer trend. Here are some of my favourites – I especially like the YMC floral pattern! I must admit that I’m a little disappointed with Topshop’s offerings – I did think that they would be all over this but there are some dodgy looking snake prints lurking on the website.

What are your favourites? Have you spotted some that I’ve missed? Let me know!

Topshop for Adidas Originals Collaboration Launch

I love a good design collaboration (think Isabel Marant for H&M), and I’m really looking forward to seeing the new Topshop for Adidas Originals range! Topshop tweeted a promotional video earlier today (see below) that gave a glimpse of some of the designs, and I loved the graphic prints. The collection launches in stores on the 20th March, so only a week to wait!

What are some of your favourite design collaborations? Are you looking forward to this one?
